About the Four Seasons Los Angeles

Just east of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the Four Seasons Los Angeles is a wedding venue and luxury hotel that has operated at this location since 1987. It opened as an urban resort, built for one of the most recognized zip codes in the world. The property was designed to operate at the highest level of hospitality from the start, and in the years since it has hosted celebrities, heads of state, and high-profile events making it one of LA's most recognizable locations.

Couples are drawn to the Four Seasons Los Angeles for the elevated experience the property delivers, the opportunity of giving out of town guests the experience of Beverly Hills, and for nearly four decades of hosting high-profile events. Not many properties in Los Angeles bring all three of those things together.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Wetherly Gardens

The Wetherly Garden is an outdoor courtyard surrounded by mature palms, citrus trees, and greenery, with a central fountain and a setting that feels genuinely private. From late October through late March the space becomes the Wetherly Pavilion, a tented version of the garden with crystal chandeliers that works well for winter weddings.

The Ballroom

The Ballroom is a large indoor reception space with floor-to-ceiling windows and Venetian crystal chandeliers. Guests move there from the ceremony through a canopied Italian-tiled promenade, which is where cocktail hour typically takes place.

The Deck

The LA OLA Deck is a rooftop terrace near the pool, surrounded by foliage that gives it more of a garden feel than a typical city rooftop. It faces west, and the light during golden hour is beautiful.

What's Special About This Venue

City Views

The hotel sits high enough that rooms facing downtown have a clear view of the city, and the rooftop helipad takes that further with a 360 degree view stretching from the Hollywood Hills to downtown Los Angeles and out toward the Pacific.

Urban Resort Setting

The property sits near Rodeo Drive and functions like a self-contained resort, with a pool terrace, spa, and multiple outdoor spaces. Out of town guests have a full luxury destination to explore.

Formal Outdoor and Indoor Spaces

Wetherly Gardens offers formal outdoor ceremony space with privacy, and the Ballroom delivers an elegant indoor reception with the architecture to match. The two spaces complement each other, and the canopied promenade connecting them makes the shift from ceremony to reception easy for guests.

Who Is the Right Couple for This Venue

Couples who choose the Four Seasons have usually thought carefully about what the full weekend feels like for the people they are inviting. They want a formal, sophisticated event where every detail of the guest experience is handled at a high level, and this well-known luxury property delivers that consistently.

Insider Tips

The hotel suites on the upper floors are a good spot for getting ready. They are spacious, the views are impressive, and the rooms on the garden-facing side get soft natural light. It makes for a relaxed getting ready experience.

The rooftop helipad is one of the more unique portrait locations we have access to at this property. It has a clear view stretching from the Hollywood Hills to downtown Los Angeles, and we typically schedule time there during golden hour when the light is at its best.

Once the sun goes down the property takes on a different feel. The driveway at the entrance and the fountain in Wetherly Gardens both photograph well at night and give us another distinctive area for romantic portraits.

The Four Seasons Los Angeles brings together nearly four decades of hospitality, a setting that moves naturally from the privacy of the garden to the openness of the rooftop, and a level of service that keeps the day on track without couples having to manage it. For out of town guests it is a full destination. For portraits it gives us options from morning through to late evening. And for couples who want a formal, sophisticated wedding in the heart of Beverly Hills, it is one of the few properties in Los Angeles that delivers all of it consistently.
